Hi All, I use vba in excel 2007 to pull through notes on a catia drawing to perform a number of functions including spell check. Once checked for errors the text is pushed back to catia and overwrites the exisitng text. My problem is that symbols such as diameter or mmc appear in catia as underscores when copied from excel.
This behaviour can easily be replicated by copying a symbol such as diameter from a text box, pasting in excel, then copy from excel and paste back in a text box. Close the text box and you will see the symbol appears as an underscore. Any ideas what causes this to happen and how I resolve it? Thanks, Mike. I've found the following on marathon-studios.com.
During the lifetime of those two products, Microsoft added the euro currency symbol bringing the number of characters to 218, and introduced a new core set of Pan-European fonts containing the WGL4 (Windows Glyph List 4) character set, with 652 characters.
